Firefly 2+

The new version of the legendary Firefly 2 is here. The newly designed Firefly 2+ fine-tunes its predecessor turning it into the perfect convection vaporizer.

At first sight, little seems to have changed. The unit is still easy to fill and clean. The look is intact, only now the new company logo is built into the unit and it glows while you activate the vaporizer. But looks can be deceiving, the Firefly 2+ has been subtly redesigned with the aim to deliver a superior taste experience that extracts everything from your favourite herb or concentrate.

Dynamic Convection Heating Technology

The Firefly 2+ uses dynamic convection heating. This means that with each inhalation you smoothly increase the temperature. The benefit is that you vaporize all compounds of the plant at their correct temperature. The end result is a complete vaping experience that makes for a full-bodied taste and multifaceted effect. True full extraction!

It’s fast!

Calling the Firefly 2+ fast is an understatement. The 3 second heat-up time is unbeatable.

Improved airflow

The Firefly 2+ features increased airflow. The airflow of the original Firefly 2 was felt to be constrained by some users. The new airflow system combines efficient extraction with a comfortable draw. This means that the vaporizer delivers 33% more airflow compared to the Firefly 2.

Be aware that you pack the bowl correctly for optimal airflow. Just don’t pack it too full as this will constrict the airflow considerably.

Customize the Firefly 2+

The optional Firefly 2 Plus app (available for Android and iOS) offers the possibility to customize the vaping experience with your smartphone using Bluetooth connectivity. You can adjust the temperature in real-time as you vape. You can change the temperature setting on your device without the app (7 preset settings), but the app offers a much wider range of temperature settings between 93 °C and 260 °C. The app also allows you to rename your device and makes it possible to find a personalized balance between richer or smoother vapour.

About the Firefly 2+ battery

The Firefly 2+ uses a Lithium-Ion 7.4 770 mAh battery which is the same battery as its predecessor. The good news is that upgraded firmware has increased battery life. In general, you should get 3 to 5 bowls out of one battery charge. Of course, this depends on user preferences and settings but users of the Firefly 2 will notice a longer battery life. The logo will blink red when the battery is low and needs charging.

Additionally the battery charges quickly. No overnight charging sessions here, an empty battery should be full in about 45 minutes.
